Elsie Caughorn Covington

Covington, Elsie Caughorn, age 81, South Knoxville, passed away Saturday July 31, 2004 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Seven Islands Baptist Church but attended Kimberlin Heights Church of God. Preceded in death by husband, Luther Covington; sons, Charles and Bill Covington; daughter, Evelyn Covington and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include sons, J.L. Covington and wife, Brenda; Freeman Covington and wife, Linda all of Knoxville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank, Paul and Ralph Caughorn; sister, Ruby Gregg and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 8:00 p.m. Monday at Berry Chapel with Rev. Becky Milligan officiating. Family and friends will meet at Seven Islands Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday for graveside services.
