Arbutus McCracken

McCracken, Arbutus Lee Ogle, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 28, 2004 at Park West Hospital. She was a member of City View Baptist Church. Mrs. McCracken is remembered for her devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by father, Clarence Ogle and mother, Mattie McCarter Ogle LaRue. She was the loving wife of Kyle E. McCracken and beloved mother of 5 daughters, one deceased, Sammy Sue Hodges Millard; Sharon Hodges Goin and husband, Roy of Smyrna, TN, Marilyn Hodges Pittenger Zaiko and husband Terry, Colleen McCracken, and LeAnne McCracken Colquitt and husband Jimmy all of Knoxville; son-in-law, Sam Millard of Chattanooga, TN; devoted grandmother of Laura Millard Ladd, Matthew Millard, John Millard, Amanda Goin, Megan Goin Pace, Josh Goin, Will Goin, Dr. Dale Pittenger, Sam Pittenger, Anna Colquitt and Maria Colquitt. She also enjoyed her 7 great grandchildren: Clayton and Kyle Ladd, Aaron Millard, Jolie and Noah Pace, Chris and Nick Pittenger. Sister, Martha LaRue Bruner of Knoxville. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Friday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Grant Bishop and Rev. Gene Hurley officiating. Graveside services and interment will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
