White, Fannie Lee Alexander Wells, ?Granny White,? age 95, formerly of Tomassee Drive in South Knoxville, died Monday, July 12, 2004. Granny was born in Claiborne County, TN on October 21, 1908. She was a long time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. For the past three years she has been a resident of Asbury Place and the family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff for their loving care. Preceded in death by parents, John Mitchell and Nora Ausmus Alexander; step mother, Cora Rogers Alexander; husbands, Herman Wells and A.D. White, Sr.; brother, Bill Alexander; sisters, Barbara Turner, Alida Alexander; children, Lorraine Chambers, Mitchell Wells, A. David White, Jr., Albania Milani and Beth Haynes; sons-in-law, Jack Milani, Tom Milani and Ken Haynes. Survivors include children, Madelyn Milani, Jim White and wife, Betty, Ed White and wife, Peggy, Karen White Williams and husband, Hoyt, Angie White Barker and husband, Ken, Jane White Randles and husband, Fred, Tom White and wife Pam; son-in-law, Jim Chambers; daughter-in-law, Katherine White McClellan; grandchildren, Roger and Rusty Chambers, Davena White Anderton, A.D. III, Steve and Danny White, Jack, Sandra and Mark Milani, Sherry Haynes Lucking, Shelia Haynes Rauen, Cindy Haynes Dunn, Kenny Haynes, Beth Haynes Walker, Jim White, Jr., Lisa White Goodman, Hope Wade Humphries, Heather Wade Bunch, Jackie White Mills, Jason White, Jana White Deucharme, Missy Bowerman Jones, Derrick Bowerman, Drew, Mitch and Lucas Barker, Natalie Randles Brown and Sam White. Granny?s legacy of love includes many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Chapman Hwy., with a celebration of Granny?s life to follow at 7:30 PM, Rev. Ken Barker and Rev. Fred Randles officiating. The family and friends will meet Thursday at Mt. Olive Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment service. Pallbearers will be Roger and Rusty Chambers, Jim White, Jr., Derrick Bowerman, Drew, Mitch and Lucas Barker and Sam White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack and Mark Milani, A.D. III, Steve and Danny White, Tracy Milani, Kenny Haynes, Jason White and Andrew White, The family requests that Memorials may be made to: For Jim White - Mt.
