Gladys Mayes Baldwin

Baldwin, Gladys Mayes, age 88 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Hillcrest North Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church and was retired from the US Dept. of Defense. Preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Mayes; husband, Andrew Vernon Baldwin; nephew, Vance L. Hendrix. Sister, Lola M. Nichols of Knoxville; niece, Dorothy Hendrix Crawford and husband, Paul of Chambersburg, PA; niece ?in- law, Nancy Hendrix of Jefferson City; nephews, Marvin Nichols and wife, Joyce and their child, Angela G. Nichols of Manchester, TN; great-nephews, Wayne Crawford of Maryland; Bryan Hendrix of Washington DC; Scott Hendrix of Jefferson City, TN; great-niece, Carol Crawford Wilson of Maryland. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00 PM Friday for graveside services with Dr. William J. Fowler and Rev. Cabel Trent officiating.
