Ray Helton, age 71 of Seymour departed friends and loved ones on Friday, July 2, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Velma Helton, sister, Edith Helton. Survivors: Loving wife of 50 years: Mary Ruth (Harrison) Helton Daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra and Billy Helton Patricia and Earle “Huck” Jennings Son and daughter-in-law: Danny Ray and Donna Helton Grandchildren: Kenny Ray, Brian and Jennifer Blackburn, Shelley Helton, Zjon-Luc, Zjon-Paul Jennings Great Grandchild: Harlee Rae Blackburn Brothers and sisters-in-law: Harold and Katy Helton Elmer and Beulah Helton Sister: Carolyn Mott Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews Many other relatives and dear friends Funeral service 7PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Pete Koester and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Interment 10AM Tuesday in Shiloh Cemetery, in Seymour.
