Edna R. (Mamaw) Martin

Martin, Edna R. (Mamaw), age 62, of Knoxville, moved forward into God?s loving arms on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital, after loving and caring for 3 generations of family. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Charles A. Sharp and Irene ?Granny? Bowman; husband, William R. ?Bob? Martin; son, John Daniel Lloyd Martin. Son, William Robert ?Billy? Martin, Jr.; daughters, Reva Doris Martin, Edna Laverne ?Sissy? Martin, all of Knoxville, Claire A. and husband, Rodney C. Reece of Corryton; grandchildren, John Daniel Lloyd Martin, Jr., Brian Lloyd Martin, Carson Nathan Martin, Christina Michelle and husband, Robbie Parsons, Cody Carson Reece; great-grandchildren, Robert Thomas Parsons; former husband, Clarence Hugh Bales of Knoxville; brothers, Jessie and Lloyd; sisters, Barbara, Ivous, Ann, June; and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends who knew and loved her. Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mark Hammond officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home Saturday by 10:15 AM to go in procession to Mount Olive Cemetery for 11:00 AM graveside services. Pallbearers will be selected. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
