Helen Elizabeth Hager

Helen Elizabeth Hager, age 83 of Pigeon Forge, died Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was a loving and caring member of First Baptist Church of Pigeon Forge and a faithful member of her prayer group and Sunday school class. Helen was a loving caregiver of her wonderful mother Ruth C. Whaley and loving Christian mother to her daughter and granddaughters. Helen was preceded in death by her parents L.C. and Ruth C. Whaley, brothers Harold, Everette, Frank and Arnold Whaley; sister Charlotte Simpson. Survivors: Daughter: Carol Osborne and husband Russ of Roseburg, Oregon Brother: Eugene Whaley and wife Edith, Pigeon Forge Sister: Nan Runion and husband T.C. Runion Granddaughters: Lisa Anderson, Lori Borland, Linda Vadino and Jenny Burton Grandsons: Craig and Ryan Osborne Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss her Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. W.W. Cope and Rev. Jeff Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Pigeon Forge Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel,220 Emert St. Pigeon Forge.
