MILLER, MAXINE age 63 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday April 22, 2004 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Member of Halls Christian Church. Retired from Bell South and United Way of Knoxville as a labor liason. Member of Knoxville-Oak Ridge Labor Council, AFL-CIO, CWA Local #3805. Member of Mildred Buffler Daytime Women?s Democrat Club. A graduate of Leadership Knoxville and member of Telephone Pioneers of Knoxville. Preceded in death by her mother, Mae Miller and great nephew, Hunter Headrick. Survivors: sister, Arlene Coleman of Knoxville; brothers: Ray Miller and wife Sondra of Knoxville; Ed Miller and wife Sonya of Cleveland, OH; nephews: Chris Headrick and wife Angell and their children Brittany and Nicholas Davis; Jimmy Coleman and wife Janet and their children Jeremy and Megan; Phillip Coleman and his children Drew and Devin; nieces: Melissa Vanover and husband Lundon; Teela Miller and Tiara Miller and many dedicated and devoted friends. The funeral service will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Larry Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel by 1:30 p.m. Sunday and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for 2:00 p.m. graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. 2300 W. Adair Drive. Those who wish may make memorials to United Way of Knoxville.
