SSgt. McMahan, Don Steven ?age 31, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2004 at Baghdad, Iraq. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School in Nashville. He joined the United States Army in 1993. He was of the Gnostic Catholic practice and a collector of antiquities of weaponry and books. Preceded in death by grandmother, Echo McMahan. Survivors include wife of 11 years, Shelba McMahan; children, Seth, Evan and Sarah ?Izzy? McMahan; father, Don McMahan; mother, Jean Banks; stepmother, Cindy McMahan; brother, Jason McMahan; brother, Casey McMahan; sister, Stephanie Taylor; sister, Nicole Bulgarino; sister, Lori Beard; and grandmother, Jean Halcomb. Funeral service will be held 10 AM EST on Monday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held 3 PM Monday, Clark Cemetery, Newport, Tennessee.
