Kate O. Maples

Lura Kate Maples, age 95, of Sevierville, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004. She was a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands J. C. Bersch and W. O. Maples, parents C. M. and Nettie Ownby of VA, two infant sisters, Ruby and Reva, sister, Jean Allen of Richmond, VA, brothers T. Lee of TN, Lyle and Frank of VA, and Kenneth of KY. Survivors: Brother: Dott Ownby and wife Imogene, of Pigeon Forge Sister: Josie M. Adcox, of Knoxville Several Nieces and Nephews Caregiver: Rev. Funeral service 2:30 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Wells and Rev. Bill Maples officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pigeon Forge.
