Helen Jane (Lindsay) Sayne

Sayne, Helen Jane (Lindsay) ?born July 27, 1919, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 06, 2004. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. A godly woman who the Lord, she was a faithful, life long Sunday School Teacher and a committed church worker. Member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Retired from the University of Tennessee. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Sayne, Sr.; son, Larry; parents, Roy and Jama Lindsay and five brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her children, Charles W. Sayne, Jr. and wife, Amy; Gail Conner and husband, Ronnie of Knoxville, David of Bethesda, Maryland, Robby and wife, Jan of Chuckey, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kevin Conner and wife, Glenda, Lauren Conner, Katie, Caroline and John Sayne; sister, Doris Triplett; brother, Roy Berry Lindsay and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7 PM on Thursday, Berry Chapel, with Dr. Hollie Miller and Rev. Mike Segers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM on Thursday prior to the funeral service and at the conclusion of the service until 9 PM. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 PM on Friday at Berry Funeral Home and proceed in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 1 PM interment service.
