Delores Kay Wooden, age 54, of Seymour, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004. Delores was formerly of Indianapolis, IN. She had been a resident of Sevier County for 27 years. She was former President of the Gatlinburg Garden Club & Pilot International. She held B.S. and M.A. degrees, was a retail executive, and she served on several local boards. She attended the national Trap Shooting Tournament for over 35 years. She was a lover of nature and animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold F. and Mary E. Kent. Survivors include her: Husband of 35 years: John Kirk Wooden Sister and Brother-in-law: Rhonda and Robert Coles Nieces and Nephews: Casey Coles, Robbie Coles, Paul Christian, and Carol Christian Special Aunt: Aunt Ginny Many Special Friends Memorial service 7 PM Saturday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
