Mable June (Rucker) Smith

Smith, Mrs. Mable June (Rucker), age 72, of South Knoxville, passed away September 19, 2003 at UT Hospital. Mrs. Smith was a member of Island Home Baptist Church and was retired from South Central Bell. Husband Jerry W. Smith; sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry S. and Diane, Jeffrey and Vickie, Joseph and Tracee, and Jason and Suzanne all of Knoxville; grandsons: David, Matthew, and Andy; granddaughters: Ashley, Elizabeth, Haylee, Hanna, and Andrea; great-grandchild, Caitlyn; sisters: Betty Richardson, Bobbie Enloe, and Creta Graves; brother, C.J. Rucker. Funeral service Monday, 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ray Kitts and Rev. Dwight Jenkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Highland South Cemetery for interment services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Island Home Baptist Church. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
