June Davis

Davis, June, age 73, of South Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at Baptist Hospital. She attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Robert C. Davis and daughter, Mary Garren. Sons Robert Davis, Phillip Davis, Ronnie Davis, Jonathan Hammond and Lloyd Hammond; daughters Ollie Knight, Carol Caughorn, Willma Free, and Angela Davis, all of Knoxville; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Lusk and wife, Wanda; sisters, Rae Long and Dorie Lawrence; sister-in-law, Barb Lusk; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 PM Wednesday, Blessed Hope Baptist Church on Blount Avenue, with Rev. Norman Smelcer officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mt. Olive Cemetery on Thursday at 11:00 AM for interment services. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
