Margaret Lou McCarroll McCarter

McCarter, Margaret Lou McCarroll, age 89 of Knoxville, went be with the Lord Tuesday, October 14, 2003. She was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and former manager of Kays Ice Cream. Preceded in death by mother, Celia Goddard McCarroll; father, James Bryson McCarroll; sister, Etta Pauline Nelson; and brother, Bill McCarroll. Daughter, Barbara Sparks Dowell; grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Michael Myshrall, Charles and Kathy Dowell, Michael and Karen Dowell, Jeff and Courtney Franklin; great-grandchildren, Tara and husband, Darryl Bartlett, Monique, Thomas and LaToya Dowell, Tristan Franklin; great-great-grandchildren, Beth Dickson, Kelli Inman, Lindsey and Brandon Bartlett; and sisters, Bell Nelms and Mildred McNabb. Funeral service 8:00 PM Thursday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jim Stroud officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery Friday at 11:00 AM for interment services. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
