Ruby Ellen Edwards

Edwards, Ruby Ellen, age 87, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 1, 2003 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice. Member of St. Luke?s United Methodist Church. Loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Eugene D. Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Bonnie Edwards; grandchildren: Eloise and husband Joe Poteat; Michael Edwards and wife Alysia; great-grandchildren: Isaac, Owen, Zachary, and Anikah; brother-in-law, Herbert Edwards and wife Virginia; sisters-in-law: Anna Scarbrough and Georgia Edwards; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to a very special group of friends who have assisted and stood by faithfully for the past two years. Funeral service Tuesday, 11:00 AM, David Smith, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
