Irene Galioto

Irene Galioto, age 84 of Sevierville, died Sunday, March 30, 2003. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and an employee of The Incredible Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge. She and her husband owned numerous businesses including a ski lodge in Wisconsin before moving to Tennessee 20 years ago. Mrs. Galioto was a graduate of the Chicago Art Institute, was a noted artist, taught painting and had paintings hanging in many states. She was preceded in death by her husband John Galioto. Survivors: Sons: Sam and Joe Galioto Daughters: Diane O’Brian and Joanne Brown Ten grandchildren Five great-grandchildren Funeral Mass 11 AM Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jay Flaherty officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
