Jose H. Almeida

Almeida, Jose' H. "Pop", age 100, born March 28, 1903 in Portugal, passed away March 29, 2003 at his home in Seymour. He was of the Catholic Faith and regularly attended Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with his daughter. Preceded in death by wife, Angelina Almeida; twin sister; daughter, Margaret Cortina; son-in-law, Charles Stutzman; grandson, Raymond Stutzman. Daughters: Angelina Cerrone and husband Joseph of Long Island, NY; Rosalie Stutzman of Seymour, TN; Thomas Almeida and wife Sandy of Miami, FL; Irene Sullivan and husband Patrick of IL; son-in-law, Louis Cortina; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held later at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 6632 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 or the charity of your choice.
