MICHAEL HOLBERT

HOLBERT, MICHAEL LEE, age 49, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 27, 2003 at St. Luke?s Hospital, Jacksonville, FL where he was undergoing testing for a lung transplant due to cystic fibrosis. He was a faithful member of Faithway Baptist Church and an ordained deacon. He had many friends and touched many lives everywhere by his witness for the Lord. He will be sadly missed by his loved ones. Survived by parents, L. O. and Joan Holbert; brothers, Larry and Dennis; daughters, Misty Dockery and Samantha Caldwell and husband, Stacy; son, Jason Nix; grandchildren, Morgan, Kelsey and Casey; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with funeral service at 8 P.M. with Brother Ricky Passmore officiating. Graveside service 2 P.M. Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews: Jeff and Chad Holbert, Jason Holbert, D.J. and Nicky Holbert and son, Jason Nix.
