CHEEK, RAYMOND D., age 79, of Norris, formerly of Belleville, MI, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2003 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice, Knoxville, TN after a brief illness. World War II U.S. Army veteran serving in the European Theater. Retired from Ford Motor Company with 31 years service. Lifetime member of Myrtle Lodge #89 F&AM;, Belleville, MI and Scottish Rite Bodies. Survived by wife of 57 years, Flora E. Cheek; daughter, Linda Cheek Papadopoulos and husband, Harry, of St. Joseph, MI; sons, Roy Cheek of Knoxville and Jerry Cheek and wife, Patricia of Hartshorn, MO; 3 grandsons, Jeremiah, Josh and Zack; brother, Paul Cheek, Falls Church, VA. Funeral services 2 P.M. Saturday Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Christopher Chase officiating. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery with military honors by Volunteer State Honor Guard.
