Elnora Brown

Brown, Elnora, age 85, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. She was a lifelong member of New Prospect Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by parents, Audley and Ella King; sisters, Evelyn McLain and Berniece Thomas; and brothers, Orville King, Billy King, and Burnette King. Husband of 59 years, Kenneth F. Brown; son, Kenneth Samuel Brown; daughter, Linda B. Patterson; grandchildren, Samlynn Powell, Lori Patterson, Boyd Patterson, and Tommy S. Brown; and sisters, Lou Thomas and Peggy Henry. Funeral service 2:00 PM Saturday, New Prospect Presbyterian Church, Rev. Phillip Bembower officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to New Prospect Presbyterian, 6200 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920, the church she loved so dearly. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
