Laura (Tootsie) Viola Dillingham Karbach

Karbach, Laura "Tootsie" Viola Dillingham - age 65, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2003 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Seymour. She found comfort in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." She was retired from Levi Strauss in Powell. Preceded in death by parents, John and Nora Mae Headrick. A loving mother who left behind sons, Rick and wife, Kelly Dillingham of Nashville, David and wife, Beth Dillingham of Knoxville; daughters, Julie and husband, Earl Richey of Knoxville, Sherry Hamrick of Ashtabula, Ohio; grandchildren, Rick Jr., Kristy, Daniel, Matthew, John-Michael, Jennifer, Alicia, Brandon, Alex, Keisha, Chris, Johnathan, Robert, and Joshua; step-grandchildren, Julie and Allen; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Lily, William, and Chloe; brothers, Sonny Headrick, Bill Headrick, and David Headrick; sister, Louise Goff; and special friends, George and Euida Shular. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow with Brother Stoffel and Pastor David Headrick officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Highland South Cemetery for interment services.
