Dorothy (Anderson) Sparks

Sparks, Dorothy (Anderson), age 87, of South Knoxville went to be with the Lord Saturday March 22, 2003. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and a long time employee of Baptist Hospital. She is preceded in death by husband, Earl Sparks and parents James E. and Pearl King Anderson. Sons, Jim and Jane Sparks of Knoxville and David and Peggy Sparks of Knoxville; daughter Barbara and George Hilton of Seymour; grandchildren LeAnn Nutt, Kim Cogar, Greg Hilton, Kelly Lowery, Melanie Gregg, Gina Rothchild; five great- grandchildren; sister Veda Smith of Dandridge and several nieces and nephews; also special care giver Ruby Cogdill. Funeral service Monday 8:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Chaplain William Justice officiating. Interment Tuesday, 10:00 AM, Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
