James Bill McMahan

James Bill McMahan, age 48 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2003. He was a member of Hurst Chapel Baptist Church. “Gone home to be with Jesus, and now walking with the Lord.” Mr. McMahan was employed by Blalock Company for 15 years and the Pigeon Forge Street Department for the past 5 years. He was preceded in death by his father Mitchell McMahan, sister Flora Jane Dellinger and nephew DeWayne Hinson. Survivors: Sons: Toby and Mitchell McMahan Daughter: Brittany McMahan Mother of his children: Helen Mother: Julia McMahan Sisters: Mary Harden, Sue Duncan, Ruth Myers, Rose Dunn Brothers: Floyd, A.J., and Robert McMahan Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews Many special friends Funeral service 2 PM Saturday at Hurst Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Allen, Rev. Jack Ogle and Rev. Danny Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Hurst Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be employees of the City of Pigeon Forge Street Department. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
