James R. Wilson, 89, of Knoxville (formerly of Sevierville) died Sunday, March 9, 2003. He was retired from Alcoa and an Army veteran of WW II. Preceded in death by his first wife, Leona Roberts Wilson; Parents, Amber and Maude Wilson; Brothers, Lawrence and Boyd Wilson; Sisters, Verla Whaley and Mildred Hannon Survivors: Wife: Winnie (Burns) Wilson Daughter and son-in-law: Wilda Faye and Simon Smith Grandson: Tommy Smith and wife Genny One great-grandson Brothers and sisters-in-law: Paul and Hazel Wilson , Evert and Irene Wilson, and Hugh and Irene Wilson Sister-in-law: Elizabeth Wilson Sisters and brothers-in-law: Edith and Warren Caton, Inez and Homer Lewis, Cecile Roberts, Lois and Verlan Ming, Kay and Murrell McCarter, Ruth Christopher Sisters-in-law: Illa Bogle, Faye Newman Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ben and Jean Whaley, Bon Whaley, Paul and Betty Whaley, Gene and Sue Whaley Family and friends will meet 11 AM Wednesday at Middle Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
