Eula Jane Nelson, our Precious Mother, age 81 of Knoxville, formerly of Sevier County, died Thursday, March 06, 2003 at her home. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church, Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer Nelson of Knoxville; parents, Christopher and Rebecca Compton; brothers, Buford, Roy, Shirl, Glen and Clay Compton; sisters, Alma Rayfield and Ruth Reagan. Survivors: Son: John Randle Trentham Daughters: Shirley Trentham Mounger, Peggy Trentham Dyer, Kay Bell and husband Steve, Sharon Carleton and husband Dennis Grandchildren: Robin Jane Cross, Gretchen Bell McCabe and husband Jimmy, Brandon James Mason, Taylor Sloane Trentham Great-grandchildren: Zacre and Paige Cross, SeQuoia McCabe Sister: Leona Ogle of Pigeon Forge Funeral service 7 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, with the Reverend Mike Segers of Inskip Baptist Church and Chaplain Clay Mulford officiating.
