Norman Shabaz

Norman Shabaz, 81, of Kodak, TN formerly of LaHabra, CA died Saturday June 28, 2003. He was a first generation Assyrian American, a Navy pilot of WW II, and very active in the Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Esther Shabaz; brother, Raymond Shabaz; and sister, Jeannie Benjamin Survivors: Wife of 58 years, Natalie Lehmann Shabaz, of Kodak Children, Carol Shabaz White, husband Philip and their children Adelaide and Oliver, all of Kodak, TN, Steven Shabaz, of LaHabra, CA Anita Shabaz Gilkey, husband Michael and children Zachary and Erin Kennan, Brandon, Shane, Wendie Gilkey, all of Corona,CA Sandra Shabaz Martin, and child Alyssa Martin, of Downey, CA Brother, David Shabaz, and his children all residing in Turlock, CA Special Niece: Susan Benjamin Warda, and family from Moraga, CA Funeral service 7 PM Thursday July 3, 2003 in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Kirk officiating. Interment 10 AM Friday in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.
