Wanda Imogene Bates

Bates, Wanda Imogene, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 6, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Rick Dale Bates; mother, Bessie Branson Littlefield; sister, Mae Johnson and brother, Melvin Sharp. Sisters: Fae Whaley of GA; Dorothy Radford of Melbourne, FL; LaVerne Cantwell of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Tuesday, 2:30 PM at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Tuesday prior to the service in the chapel. Arrangements by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home 2300 W. Adair Drive.
