E.C. Holbert

E.C. Holbert, age 80 of Maryville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003. Mr. Holbert was an Army veteran of World War II and was a retired carpenter from the University of Tennessee. He was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Imogene Wells Holbert and grandchildren Christy Lynn and Angel Denise Holbert. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law: Donald and Nancy Holbert, Joe and Vanna Holbert, Larry and Carolyn Holbert Daughters and sons-in-law: Ginger and Marshall Kyle, Nan and Robert Dewar Grandchildren: Donna and John Payne, John Frank, Travis and Lacretia Holbert, Amy and Arthur Brackins, Crystal, Rusty and Daniel Holbert, Tiffany and Derek Orbesen, Amanda Holbert, Trevor Dewar Great-grandchildren: William and Matthew Brackins, Jacob and Kristen Frank Sisters: Hazel Dykes, Leo Russell Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday in Oak View Cemetery on Ellejoy Road in Walland, TN for graveside service and interment. Rev. Jimmy Wells and Rev. Curtis Wells officiating. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)

My Papaw, loved to watch sports on televison! Funny thing was he'd watch the television but listen to the radio at the same time. One of many memories I have of my Papaw. I miss and love you Papaw!
