J. P. Fox, 75, of Sevierville passed away Tuesday July 1, 2003 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired self-employed carpenter and farmer. Preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Scottie Feezel Fox and his grandson, Damon Todd Hamilton Survivors: Wife of 54 years; Lucy Byrd Fox Daughters & sons-in-law; Nina Ruth and Ray Hamilton; Wilma Jean and Michael Manning all of Sevierville Grandchildren; Jayrob and wife Lee Ann Hamilton of Roanoke, Va., Shana Hamilton of Memphis and Dustin Manning, Jeremy Hamilton and Erica Manning all of Sevierville Great-granddaughter: Alyssa Sophia Hamilton of Roanoke, VA The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday July 3 at Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Revs. Jimmy and Terry Williams will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 1 PM Friday, July 4 at Burchfiel Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery for viewing and graveside service and interment.
