Geraldine Walker Tobey

Geraldine Walker Tobey, died Monday, January 27, 2003 in Sevierville, Tennessee. She attended Virginia Intermont in Bristol, Virginia and Rhodes College in Memphis, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a steadfast member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Memphis and of First Presbyterian Church in Sevierville. She taught adult Sunday school for over 60 years. A native Memphian, Mrs. Tobey moved to Sevierville in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Redus Walker and Frank Thrall Tobey, Jr. She leaves to mourn her passing, yet celebrate her life: Daughter and son-in-law: Terry and David Wright Adored granddaughter: Sarah Wright, all of Sevierville Grandchildren: Leesa Wright of Savannah, Georgia; D. Greg Wright of Columbia, South Carolina. Devoted friends: Paula Edwards and Michael Sullivan Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Sevierville with Rev. Don Grady and Rev. Ty Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pigeon Forge, TN. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, TN.
