Bertha Newberry Whittier

Bertha Whittier, age 80 of Sevierville died Monday, January 6, 2003. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 22 years and was a member of Luretta United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Evan Whittier and son Randy Whittier. Daughter: Victoria Whittier Son: James Whittier Brother: Earl Newberry Sisters: Julia Smith and Nina Dietrich Funeral service 7 PM Thursday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Steve Fatow officiating. Interment 11 AM Friday in Middle Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Veach officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
