RUTH DICKERSON

DICKERSON, RUTH SCHAPER, of Taylors, S.C., formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee, and widow of The Rev. Dr. Robert V. Dickerson, died Friday, February 21, 2003. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William and Corrine Endres Schaperkotter. Mrs. Dickerson was a homemaker, a member of Knoxville Bible Presbyterian Church and an avid supporter of Christian missions around the world. Surviving are two daughters, Beth Fisher of Taylors and Debby Gross of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a son, Bill Dickerson of St. Louis, Missouri; and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 25 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home in Knoxville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
