Luther Robert Gilbert, Jr., age 65 of Seymour, died Saturday, February 15, 2003 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mary Gilbert, Sr., and Grandmother, Etta Gilbert. Survivors: Son and Daughter-in-law: Tony and Mildred Gilbert Grandchildren: Sean and Jasmine Gilbert Sisters: Wanda Rogers, Evelyn Lamore, Irene Miller, Mary Jean Johnson Several nieces, nephews and cousins Aunt: Euretha Christopher Uncle: Frank Gilbert Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Parton officiating. Interment will follow in Red Bank Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #104.
