LEE WALLACE

WALLACE, LEE FRANCIS, age 81, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 13, 2003. He was a member of Linden Baptist Church. He was greatly loved by all who knew him. We will forever remember his sweet smile. He was employed by the Standard Knitting Mills for 25 years. Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Dora (Reynolds) Wallace; siblings, Robert, Earl, Catherine and several infants. Survived by life-long companion, Opal Koontz Wallace; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Barbara Wallace; sister, Ann Mason; granddaughters and husbands, Kim and Brad West, Lisa and Billy Denny; great-grandchildren, Keith West, Matt Denny, Eric Denny, Jessica West and Julie West; sisters-in-law, Ruth Barbrey, Mae Koontz and Mary Koontz; brother-in-law, Bill Koontz; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Maynardville. Everyone there was so caring to Pappaw and his time there was very happy. Thanks also to his special friends Dave Gibson and George Mellon. Funeral service 3 P.M. Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lynch officiating and singing by the Dunsmores. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brad West, Billy Denny, Keith West, Matt Denny, Eric Denny and David Koontz. Family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M.
