James E. Ritchie

Ritchie, James E., age 71, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at his home. He was a member of the Christian Church and was retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service. Preceded in death by daughter, Marie Bryant. Wife of 33 years, Patricia A. Ritchie; sons, James Gordon Ritchie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Roger L. Ritchie of Knoxville, and Jerry L. Ritchie of Hazard, Kentucky; grandchildren, Amber Bryant and Matthew Ritchie; brothers, Archie Ritchie, John Ritchie, Hershell Ritchie, and Eugene Ritchie; sister, Kathy Wolford, all of Hazard, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery 11:00 AM on Saturday for graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
