Carl H. Beal, Sr.

Beal, Carl H., Sr., age 77, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. Owned and operated Carl Beal Produce Company and for the past 2 years worked for Burns Security. Carl was a World War II Navy Veteran. Wife of 34 years, Rita Beal; daughters: Jane Horton, Sue Lauramore, Annette Rhodaback, Patti Smith, Connie Christian, Cathe Varner and Brandy Christian; sons: Carl, Jr. and Greg Beal; sisters: Elizabeth Noe, Ruth Waycaster and Charlotte Pitts; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Ford and Rev. Ashley Calhoun officiating. Family and friends will meet at Old Ebenezer Church Cemetery behind Victory Baptist Church on Westland Drive at 2:30 PM Sunday for the interment service. Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway is serving the family.
