Robert H. (Bob) Costner

Costner, Robert H. (Bob), age 76, of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at Hillcrest South Nursing Home. Faithful member of Meridian Baptist Church and the Triumphant Sunday School Class. He was retired from Rohm and Haas. Preceded in death by parents, J.R. (Bob) and Jo Costner; wife, Ruth Johnson Costner; infant son, James Arthur; and brothers, Jack and J.D. Costner. Son, D. Scott Costner and wife, Mikki of Gallatin, TN; 3 grandchildren: Kelly Parker of Livingston, TN; Dale Scott Costner, Jr. and Davis Costner of Gallatin, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn and A.L. Johnson, Mildred and O.H. Reynolds, Jr., both of Maryville; 7 nieces and nephews; 6 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dana Fachman and Rev. Fred West, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery for interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
