Lloyd Edward Lundy, Jr.

Lundy, Jr., Lloyd Edward, age 73, of South Knoxville, passed away after a long illness at Hillcrest North. Attended Knoxville Baptist Tabernacle. Retired from Rohm and Haas after 30 years of service. Served in the Korean Conflict as a Paratrooper. Wife of 50 years, Iva McCarter Lundy; daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Hank Wohleb of Chattanooga; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Lundy; daughter, Joanna Lundy; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Heatherly, all of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lee Vena Lundy of Knoxville; sister, Lenna DeBusk of Clinton. Mr. Lundy is remembered as a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral 8:00 PM Tuesday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Brother Bob Bevington and Brother Albert Barlow officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM Wednesday for graveside services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
