J.R. Parton, age 65 of Sevierville, died Wednesday, August 20, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ella Parton; brothers Carl Ray and Dee Parton. Survivors: Wife: Sylvia Marie Parton Sons and daughters-in-law: James and Lisa Brackins, J.R. and Theresa Parton, Stanley and Annia Parton Daughter and son-in-law: Ellen and Ronald Bryant Grandchildren: James, Eddie and Jade Brackins, Travis, Bo and Michael Parton, Trevor, Amanda and Stephanie Parton, Jayson Parton Great-grandchildren: Brandon, Austin, Ashley, Gabe, Jordan, McKinley, Kendra Brothers and sisters: Agnes Boling, Pearl Green, Faye Wilson, Ina Whaley, Harold Parton Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home.
