Georgia M. Cummings (Grannie) White

White, Georgia M. Cummings (Grannie), at age 76 began her new life, on August 18, 2003 at her home in South Knoxville. She crossed over with all her loved ones by her side. Preceded in death by son, Ricky Lumpkin; grandson, John Lumpkin; parents, Johnny and Nancy Cummings; brothers, Harlen, Herman, and Herbert Cummings; and sisters, Flossie and Mamie. Husband of 50 years, Bud White; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Marty Lumpkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Dee and David Kirkland, Yvonne (Issy) Varner, Marie (Cracker) and Wayne Cooper, Margaret and Ernie Turner, and Sedonna and Eddie Caylor. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and she was Grannie to many many more. She also leaves her life long friend, Margaret Huffaker. ?We will see your smile in all God?s glory, we?ll see you in the flowers that bloom and the birds that sing. We?ll see you in the glisten of the new fallen snow we will see you in all that we do for our love has no end.? Funeral service 8:00 PM Wednesday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. George Pressley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 Noon Thursday at Highland South Cemetery for graveside services. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
