Edna Leola Miller (Rassie) Bean

Bean, Edna Leola Miller (Rassie), born February 6, 1913, passed away Monday, August 18, 2003. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1931. She worked at Knoxville Utility Board for many years then moved to Unionville, Virginia. Most recently she lived in Louisville, Tennessee and was a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Home for the past five years. She was preceded in death by husband Charles M. Bean; mother Jesse Belle Armstrong Miller; father Edward L. Miller, both of Knoxville; son Frank Edward Giffin; sister Jesse Marie Miller. Sister, Nina Marguerite Miller Thompson; granddaughter Gina Giffin Christman; grandson Robert Edward Giffin; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews. Family and friends will assemble at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
