John Richard Riffey

Riffey, John Richard, age 72 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, August 17, 2003 at home. Member of Halls Christian Church. U. S. Army Veteran of Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by wife, Polly Riffey. Daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Robbie Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Maude Riffey; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene and Gary Riffey; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Terry Landell, Jody Riffey, Butch Harris, Jason Hicks, Johnny Lynch and Jeff Riffey. Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
