Donald Ray Hensley

Donald Ray Hensley, age 62 of Sevierville, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. Mr. Hensley was employed by Sevier County Board of Education for 31 years and was a member of the Kerbela Temple Shriners. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Maples Hensley, grandson, Keegan Hardin, and father Pearl Hensley. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Pam Hensley Daughter and son-in-law: Veronica and Tim Hardin Grandchildren: Burke and Branton Hardin, Reegan and Riana Hensley Mother and step-father: Hailey and Arthur Middleton Brother and sisters: Wayne Hensley and wife Midge of Richmond, IN; Phyllis Thomas, Ed Hensley and wife Janice, Pat Jeffers and husband Roger, Marsha Albright and husband Murrell, all of Knoxville Special friends: Ray Cook and Ken Pitts Funeral service in the 2 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. W.W. Cope and Rev. Melvin Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Don and Rita Hensley Scholarship Fund, c/o Pigeon Forge High School, 414 Tiger Drive, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
