Frank Burris

BURRIS, FRANK (BO) age 67, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2003 at home. His church family was Kim Watt Baptist Church and Freedom Baptist Church. He was a retired owner of Burris Excavating, and a member of Elks Lodge #160 of Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Bill Burris and Ethel Woods; and daughter, Sharon Borden. Survivors include wife, Bonnie Burris; daughters, Cheryl Maxey, Melissa Owen, and Sarah Burris of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Bradley Yarbrough of Knoxville, Kandy and Wendel Norman of Chattanooga; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Linda Bowerman, Judy Scarbrough, and Dorothy Moses, all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends that knew and loved him. Funeral service 3:00 P.M. Saturday Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Delton Cochran and Rev. Steve Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in New Gray Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy King, Mike Hickman, Danny Yoder, Craig Belitz, Zeke Buchanan, and Burble Owenby. Honorary pallbearer, John Earl Yoder. The family will receive friends 6:00-9:00 P.M.
