LEE, JOHN WAYNE, age 60 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 11,2002 at Vanderbilt Hospital. Attended Ridgeview Baptist Church. U.S. Army Vietnam Special Forces. Member of IBEW Local #760. Preceded in death by father, John Robert Lee; daughter, Tena Arata. Survived by wife, Alta S. Lee; daughter, Annglia West of Knoxville; son, Roger Lee of Knoxville; daughters, Sandra Sacco of Knoxville, Alice Lee of Washington State, Bonnie Shields of Knoxville, Becky Blalock of Hamilton, Al, Brenda Darnell of Cedartown, GA; son, William (Bubba) Suttles of Knoxville; daughter, Belinda King of Knoxville; 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; mother, Edna Mae Hollifield Lee of Knoxville; brothers, Earl and Larry Lee of Knoxville; sisters, Margaret Grissom and Ruth Alley of Knoxville; special brother and sister, Carl and Joyce Nelson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M. Saturday. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Maston Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church, Building Fund or John T. O’Conner Senior Citizen Center.
