Leola Overton Pittman

Pittman, Leola Overton, age 84, of North Knoxville, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2002. She was a member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church and the Gold Star Mothers and was retired from United American Bank. She was preceded in death by son, Ronnie Knight and brother, Albert L. Overton, Jr. husband, George E. Pittman; step-daughter, Carolyn Pittman Sharp; sister-in-law, Betty Overton; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dot Lane. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Following visitation, family and friends will proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery in procession for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service, with officiating.
