Charles Robert Yates, Sr., 59 of Kodak died Thursday Nov. 28, 2002. He was the owner of Smoky Mt. Lock and Key. Survivors: Wife; Martha Lucille Yates Daughters; Tammy Stone of Kodak, Sherry Brietung of N.Y., Tina Brown of Fl., Michelle Daggett of Lenoir City, and Charlene Gray of Kodak Son; Charles Yates, Jr. of Knoxville 13 grandchildren Brothers; Marvin Yates of Michigan; and Richard Yates of Va. Sisters; Helen Gabriel, Lucy Fortner, and Virginia Smith all of North Carolina Half-brother; Roby Yates of Fl. Funeral service 7 P.M. Saturday in Atchley’s Chapel. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday at Smoky Mt. Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge for interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.
