James Charles “J.C.” McCoig, age 66 of Sevierville died Monday, November 25, 2002. He was preceded in death by his mother, Estelena McCoig; father, Donald McCoig; sister, Mildred McCoig; brother, Gary McCoig Survivors: Brothers and sisters: Rudolph and Ruby McCoig of Cosby; Bonnie Boling, Stanley and Bonnie McCoig, Doris Parton, Fredia and Cleo Ball, Vida and Donald Ball, all of Sevierville Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Edward Parton and Rev. Gene Parton officiating. Interment will follow Burchfiel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
