Yang Carl Holiway

Yang Holiway, 86, of Sevierville died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002. He was an active member (for 42 years) and deacon of Walnut Grove Baptist Church . He served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and retired from Cherokee Textile Mills. Preceded in death by brothers; Lee, Dick, Clyde, and Jack Holiway and sisters; Geneva Lambert and Martin Keck Survivors: Wife of 54 years; Gladys Holiway Son and daughter-in-law; Carl and Paula Holiway Granddaughter; Amy Elizabeth Holiway Brothers and sisters-in-law; June and Marion Holiway, Bill and Edith Holiway, Frank and Jane Holiway Sisters and brother-in-law; Jean and Dale Craig , Bonnie Morgan Sisters-in-law; Viley Holiway and Dot Holiway Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7:30 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Barnes and Rev. Mike Webber officiating. Interment 11 AM Monday in Walnut Grove Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 104.
